Do my techs need to install anything on their phones?

Just the Servinix tech app — iOS and Android, free, takes about a minute to install. Once they sign in, GPS, job assignments, work orders, photo capture, and customer signatures all run from their phone. No tablets, no dedicated hardware, no separate timeclock app.

Can I import my customer list from ServiceTitan, Jobber, or Housecall Pro?

Yes. We have direct importers for ServiceTitan and Jobber that pull customers, job histories, and recurring service agreements. Housecall Pro and other systems import via CSV — most teams are fully migrated in under a business day. Onboarding helps you map fields, dedupe contacts, and verify pricing before you go live.

Does FSM include GPS tracking, or do I need the GPS Fleet module?

FSM includes phone-based GPS — every tech app reports location in real time, which powers the live dispatch map, geofence-driven job status, and route optimization. The separate GPS Fleet module ($20/vehicle/mo) adds hardware-level vehicle telemetry: fuel use, engine diagnostics, hard-braking, and crash detection. Most teams start with phone GPS and add hardware later if they want fuel + insurance ROI.

How does route optimization work without dedicated GPS hardware?

Route optimization uses each tech's current phone GPS position, their remaining job queue, traffic data, and your dispatch zones. When a new job lands, Servinix suggests the closest qualified tech and the optimal sequence for their day. Dispatchers approve in one tap or override manually. It runs continuously — if a job runs long, the rest of the route reshuffles automatically.

Can dispatchers reassign jobs in real time after the day has started?

Yes — drag a job to a different tech on the live board and it pushes instantly to their phone with new ETA texts to the customer. No phone tag, no group chats. If a tech calls in sick mid-morning, AI can redistribute their remaining queue across the rest of the team based on GPS proximity and current load, then ask you to approve in one tap.
