Check which alerts are set up on your vehicles

1 min read

You can see every alert configured across your fleet, the threshold each one uses, and which vehicles are raising the most alerts.

Before you start

  • You need an account that can view fleet settings.
  • Publishing or changing a device setting on a vehicle requires an administrator; dispatchers and technicians can view but not publish.

Steps

  1. Open Fleet and choose Alerts, then select the Configuration tab to set an alert up on a vehicle — for example a tracking interval of 30 seconds while the ignition is on and 5 minutes while it is off.
  2. Open Settings and choose Alerts to read back everything configured across the fleet.
  3. Check each row's threshold. Intervals read in plain language, such as "GPS tracking interval — device reports every 30 seconds on, every 5 minutes off", and speed thresholds carry their unit.
  4. On the Alerts feed, look at the Most alerts by vehicle list to see which vehicles raised the most alerts in the period shown.

Result / verify

Every configured alert appears on the Settings page with a readable threshold and the same alert name used on the Configuration tab. The "most alerts by vehicle" list contains vehicles only, and its caption counts the same vehicles it shows.
