Who can see Job cost, and which trips count toward a job's fuel

The Job cost page shows each job's true margin, including revenue, labor, materials and fuel. Only people allowed to see costs can open it, and fuel costs now reflect only the driving done for that job.

Before you start

Technicians and drivers can't see Job cost. Other roles need permission to see costs, which an account owner can grant under users and roles.

Steps

1. Open Fleet › Job cost.
2. Select a job to see its margin breakdown.

Result / verify

If you have access, you see the margin and the cost breakdown. A job's fuel cost includes only the trips made while the job was being worked, not later trips to the same site. If you don't have access, you see You don't have access to job cost.
