Get prices from your pricebook when you ask Maya
1 min read
When a customer asks in web chat how much a service costs, Maya now checks your pricebook before your Q&A list. If you've priced the service, she gives the customer its starting price instead of saying she has no pricing details.
Before you start
- Add the services you want Maya to quote to your pricebook, and make sure they are active and have a price.
- Answers in your Q&A list still work for questions about policies, warranties and the services you offer.
Steps
- Open your pricebook and confirm each service you want quoted has a price and is active.
- Ask Maya a price question for one of those services, for example, "How much is a repair visit?"
- In the same conversation, ask about the price of one or two more priced services.
Result / verify
Maya gives a starting price for each service that's in your pricebook. If a customer offers a lower price, Maya won't agree to it. She flags the request so your office can follow up.
