Manage skills and certifications

Maintain the list of skills you assign to technicians.

Before you start

You need an administrator account.

Steps

1. Open Settings › Skills & Certifications.
2. Add a new skill, or open an existing one to edit it.
3. To retire a skill, set it to Inactive and confirm.

Result / verify

An inactive skill no longer appears in the technician skill picker and can't be assigned. Searching for a term that matches nothing shows a no-results message rather than an empty-library prompt.
