Start any estimate type from an empty list, and view-only access on Estimates

If you have no estimates yet, you can now start a Single estimate, a Project or a Service agreement from the empty list. Users with view-only access to Estimates now see only what they're allowed to do.

Before you start

To create or edit estimates, your role needs edit access to Estimates. An admin can change this in your role settings.

Steps

  1. Open Estimates.
  2. If the list is empty, click + Add under "Create your first estimate to get started."
  3. Choose Single estimate, Project or Service agreement.

Result / verify

All three types appear in the menu and can be clicked. If your access is view-only, you won't see + Add, editing or delete options on rows, template edit actions, or the editor, and you can still open and read estimates without errors.
