Know whether a downloaded compliance filing is final or a draft

After you export a filing from Compliance reports, the status line tells you whether you downloaded the final form or a draft. Before this fix, final filings could be labelled "draft, not for filing" by mistake.

Before you start

You need access to Reports › Compliance.

Steps

  1. Go to Reports › Compliance.
  2. In Reporting month, choose the month you want to file.
  3. Click Export filing. If the month still has items to resolve, the button reads Export draft filing.
  4. Read the status line under the template after the file downloads.

Result / verify

For a final filing, the status line names the downloaded file and doesn't call it a draft. Only draft exports say "draft, not for filing", and their file names and pages are marked DRAFT.
