Preview chemical doses and label limits in the playbook builder

Check how a chemical field will warn technicians about doses outside the label limit before you publish a playbook.

Before you start

You need permission to edit playbooks. The step must have a Chemical field with a chemical pinned to it.

Steps

1. Open Playbooks and select a playbook.
2. Select the step that has the chemical field.
3. Click the chemical field. Its dose unit and range come from the pinned chemical and can't be changed here.
4. Click Preview.
5. Enter a dose above or below the chemical's label limit.

Result / verify

An Out of label warning appears beside the dose. It doesn't block the entry. For chemicals dosed by pool size, the check happens on the job, where the pool size is known. If a save fails, you see one message with Try again.
