Understand location permissions in the technician app

The technician app now shows a plain explanation of why it needs to track location in the background before the phone's own permission prompt appears.

Before you start

This applies to technicians using the Servinix Go app on Android or iOS.

Steps

1. Sign in to the technician app.
2. Read the on-screen explanation about location use.
3. Choose the always-allow location option when prompted.

Result / verify

The app describes why background location is used before the device asks you to grant it, so you know what you are allowing and why.
