Set a reorder point for an inventory item

A reorder point is the stock level at which an item is flagged for reordering. You can set one that applies everywhere or override it for a single warehouse or vehicle.

Before you start

You need a role with permission to manage the pricebook. Field technicians can view reorder points but cannot change them.

Steps

1. Go to Settings › Reorder Thresholds.
2. Find the item and choose Set point.
3. Enter the reorder level.
4. Under Scope, keep it item-wide or pick a warehouse or one of your vehicles for an override — the most specific match wins.
5. Save.

Result / verify

The item's row shows the reorder point, and items at or below it appear in the Alerts tab.
